I’ve been sitting on this one for a while, but I can finally share with you all that my work will be featured in Vogue!
I must admit, that I was dubious the email was real when I first received it in January offering me a place in Vogue, but after a bit of Googling, I realised it was indeed real! I obviously couldn’t turn an opportunity like this down and was thrilled to be able be a part of such a prestigious magazine.
As I am lucky enough to have a three month feature, covering the March, April and May issues, I had the hard choice of picking who to use to represent my work.
The feature itself is called ‘Pawfect Picks’ so I decided to use my dog portraits. I knew how popular my recent portrait of Oscar (above) had been – his smiley face just seemed to draw people in, so Oscar the Boxer was my pick for the March Issue.
I have decided who will be my pick for the April issue – that’s a secret until the magazine is released! However I still have one undecided pick left. I’m not sure if I’m going to use a portrait I’ve already done, or if I’ll use one I’m about to do. Let me know what you think!
